The Intracompany Transferee Executive or Manager visa (L-1) is a visa that allows a foreign national to transfer to the United States to work in an executive position, managerial position, or some other specialized field for the sole purpose of employment. For this visa, the foreign national transfers from an office in a foreign country to the United states where there is a business established under the umbrella of the foreign company or an affiliate of the foreign company.
